- A Regional Manager who checks in regularly and is reachable when something comes up
- A qualified substitute when you need a day off, so covering your own absence is not your responsibility

As a Lead Teacher, you will plan and lead daily classroom activities and create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with program curriculum
- Lead daily routines and transitions
- Complete child observations, assessments, and documentation
- Guide and support other classroom staff
- Build positive relationships with children and families
If you hold an early childhood teaching certificate or a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, you likely qualify. The specifics are below.
Per the GSRP Implementation Manual, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- A valid Michigan Elementary teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Education (ZA) or Early Childhood–General and Special Education (ZS) endorsement, a Birth–Kindergarten endorsement, or a PK–3 endorsement; or
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, with the transcript showing this as a major (not a minor), and a specialization in preschool teaching.
Job Details
- Job Type: Part time or full time
- Hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Dates: Follows the school calendar, typically late summer through June
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
- Hourly rate: $20 to $23 per hour
